Sustainability

I love taking on projects with a lower environmental impact as well as assisting individuals or companies in lowering their environmental impact.

Sound Baffling Panels

The sound dampening panels are 2’ x 4’ x 3.5” and designed to sit 1”+ off the wall. They are made with Ultra Touch denim insulation (80% recycled material) which is safe to touch and breathe near. This insulation is also made from recycled material making it a more environmentally responsible option compared to its standard counterpart. The panels will be covered in a neutral material on the back with the front burlap material available in several colors.

Compost Bin

Compost bins are a great way to divert organic waste from landfills and lower your environmental impact. These can be built to any specified size or shape.

Agent 355 (first) & On the Exhale (second)

These two shows were new play workshops during the summer of 2019 at CTC. These shows performed in rep and we changed between the sets in 1 hour (including all departments). The walls used in each show are the same just in different orientations and painted different on each side. The colorful floor was covered in 8 sheets of masonite, and the back wall had 3 decorative panels to quickly dress the set. All departments sat together to plan the details of this changeover to make it happen in the allotted time.  All of the walls were modified walls from other sets throughout the summer. In total 8 sheets of material (that will be reused in the future) and some new paint was all that was purchased for these two shows.

Cornhole Boards from Theater Set Floor

Picture
These boards were made out of the floor from one of the shows at the Chautauqua Theater Company. They were originally made with the intention to sell them to patrons to raise money for the company.
